Real sites. Real skills. Real pathways.
The Youth Industry Immersion Program is a three-day industry engagement program designed to provide students and young people with structured exposure to career opportunities across the building and construction industry, with a particular focus on people who face barriers to education, training or employment.
Delivered in partnership with schools, training providers and industry, the program combines practical learning with workplace exposure and direct engagement with employers and industry professionals, supporting participants to make informed decisions about future education, training and employment pathways.

The program provides participants with opportunities to:
- Develop practical skills through hands-on industry activities
- Gain exposure to construction workplaces and project environments, including modern methods of construction, prefabrication and offsite
- Engage directly with employers and industry professionals
- Develop an understanding of the breadth of careers available across the sector
- Explore vocational education, apprenticeship and employment pathways
- Access ongoing pathway support following participation
The three-day program progresses through ‘Try It’, ‘See the Future’ and ‘Experience It’, combining practical activities with exposure to contemporary construction environments and live industry settings.
The program is suitable for young people who:
- Have an interest in practical or hands-on career pathways
