In 2017, Mushtaq embarked on a new chapter in Australia, seeking a positive future for himself and his family. Arriving in Australia as refugees with virtually nothing, Mushtaq has faced a range of challenges including limited English proficiency and uncertain career prospects.
Today, Mushtaq has fully embraced our culture and is already making a significant difference. After being awarded a Building and Construction Foundation Leadership Scholarship through RMIT University, he is now completing his Bachelor’s degree in Project Management at RMIT University
Aside from his studies, Mushtaq’s resilience and talent have not gone unnoticed. He now thrives as an undergraduate at Laing O’Rourke, Australia’s leading privately-owned engineering and construction company. Mushtaq also aspires to make a meaningful societal impact through his work, aiming to inspire others with his story of triumph over adversity. Mushtaq has completely embraced our culture and is already making such a difference.
His story truly exemplifies the transformative power of education and support.
