Mohammad Shinwari’s journey towards success stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment to community transformation through construction.
Born in war-torn Afghanistan, Mohammad and his family sought refuge in Australia in 2007. Overcoming initial challenges of language barriers and cultural adjustments, Mohammad harboured a steadfast ambition to pursue a career as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
Today, Mohammad is pursuing his aspirations at RMIT University, studying Project Management with the invaluable support of the Building and Construction Foundation Mario Biasin Leadership Scholarship. This scholarship not only fuels Mohammad’s lifelong passion for building but also his ambition to create impactful infrastructure for his community.
As the first in his family to embark on higher education, Mohammad serves as a role model and inspiration to his family of eleven, encouraging them to pursue their own dreams.
