The Building and Construction Foundation has partnered with Incolink to deliver the Building Women’s Careers (BWC) Program, an initiative that expands access to skilled trade careers for women across Victoria.
This initiative is funded by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR), as part of a three year commitment to support 90 women across Victoria who face complex challenges such as financial hardship, social disadvantage, or systemic exclusion.
Participants receive funding of up to $2,000 to remove financial and practical barriers. This funding supports women progressing into pre-apprenticeships, apprenticeships, and long-term employment pathways. Additionally, recipients will be supported by wraparound services, mentoring programs and career pathway programs to facilitate long-term success in the industry.

Intakes
Across the three year program, three intakes will be offered as follows:
- Intake 1: 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026
- Intake 2: 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027
- Intake 3: 1 July 2027 to 30 June 2028
